Online pulmonary rehabilitation is an accessible program for individuals with a chronic respiratory disease. Our goal is to help improve physical function, promote disease management, and enhance quality of life. Members of the iMaster Health program will have access to customized workout sessions, breathing and airway clearance techniques, and educational podcast episodes from a team of health professionals. All resources are available 24/7 on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device.

Pulmonary rehabilitation is a highly effective treatment for people with chronic lung disease.  Many studies have demonstrated meaningful improvements in dyspnea, fatigue, exercise capacity, and health-related quality of life. Pulmonary rehabilitation can help patients live and breathe better and may reduce urgent visits to the doctor.

The program will be available to individuals with a diagnosis of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease (ILD), cystic fibrosis, and/or bronchiectasis. If you are unsure of your respiratory disease, please consult a doctor or health care provider.

Yes! Our mission is to improve access to pulmonary rehabilitation, so everyone can live and breathe better. We do not want cost to be a barrier to a healthier life. 

All respiratory diseases differ and should be managed appropriately. Our initial screening questions aim to learn about your chronic respiratory condition(s) and level of experience with exercise. With this information, we are able to create an evidence-based program unique to you and your needs to provide safe and impactful health benefits.

The Lung Workshop is 8 weeks of virtual group exercise supervised by a clinical exercise physiologist. The program follows evidence-based exercise training which aims to improve respiratory symptoms and physical function. Learn more about the Lung Workshop here.

No, you do not need a signed referral from a doctor to participate in our program. Our mission is to make pulmonary rehabilitation easily accessible for everyone. We encourage all clients to discuss pulmonary rehabilitation with their physician to ensure the program is right for them.
