Amanda Holyk is the Founder of iMaster Health and a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. She completed her BHK and Honours Thesis in Clinical Physiology at UBC (Okanagan). Amanda has multiple years of experience conducting research and collaborating with health professionals in the Heart, Lung and Vascular Health and Exercise Science Department at UBC (Okanagan). She has been involved in projects related to exercise physiology, respiratory and cardiovascular health, and chronic disease management.
Amanda is passionate about creating new solutions to improve chronic disease management and people’s quality of life. She created iMaster Health with the mission to provide accessible resources to help individuals take better control of their health.
She currently resides in Kelowna, BC and enjoys taking full advantage of the beautiful outdoors!
If you have been cleared by a doctor or health care professional to participate in unsupervised exercise training, please visit your program information under the settings menu tab. You will have to cancel your current program and create a new account under ‘Join For Free’ on the main website. Please complete the screening process and select the Exercise + Breathe + Learn + Move plan. You will then have access to your personalized exercise plan!
Do not begin any exercises / stop exercising immediately if you have/develop:
Increase weight or consider attending a fitness facility
Remember to increase the number of breaks you take during each exercise
