In this episode, Julie talks about breathing techniques for interstitial lung disease, or ILD. She discusses breathing habits, breathing control, and breathing techniques for people living with ILD.
Julie Meyers graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2014 with a diploma in Respiratory therapy. After graduating, Julie worked at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital working with both neonatal and pediatric patient populations. In 2017, she started working with Interior Health to gain experience working with adult patients. In 2019, Julie completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Thompson Rivers University.
Julie currently works as a Community Respiratory Therapist between 100 Mile House and Williams Lake in British Columbia, Canada. In her spare time, Julie enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and spending time with her border collie on her small hobby farm.
